Apple’s Trip Into The Future

12 Sep

These days, technology is getting better every day. Each day something new and better is created. What I think to myself, will technology eventually not be able to go any further. That’s what I thought about apple products… But, as it turns out, theyve gone further. Here’s a few of their new products! (I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE PICTURES, THEY ARE ALL FROM THE, THEY ARE ALL UNDER APPLE COPYRIGHT AND THEY ARE COMPLETELY APPLE’S PICTURES!)

The new iPod Nano now films video! With the new, sleek, built in camera, you can film any video when you need it to be done, it’s so easy to use, and it films high-quality videos. You can also get crystal clear audio with the new built in high-quality microphone. Also, an easy playback with the new internal speaker.

The new iPod Nano now has polished anodized aluminum finish in 9 bright, standing out colors. Dark Red, Pink, Light Orange, Yellow, Silver/Grey, Black, Dark Green, Dark Blue, and Purple. Also, a bigger 2.2-inch color display, that makes all of your photos, video, etc. A lot easier to view, and manage.

The new iPod Nano also has a brand new voice over feature, that can allow you to easily navigate through your music, with or without looking at the screen. There is also a new FM tuner. This comes with two new features, Live Pause, and iTunes tagging. iTunes tagging is, say your listening to a song on the radio, and you hear a song you like and you are afraid you will forget the name of a song, with the new iTunes tagging feature you can easily remember the name of the song, because once you sync your iPod nano to the computer, a list comes up with your tagged songs, you can either listen to the 30 second preview, or you can buy the song on iTunes. (iTunes tagging is currently available in only the U.S. on radio stations that support iTunes tagging.) With the live pause feature, you can pause a radio station, and with a click of the play button you can begin from where you left off. You can rewind as far back as 15 minutes, and fast-foward to get to the live broadcast. The new VoiceOver feature allows you to get your iPod nano to speak the title and artist of the song you are currently listening to without interrupting your music. Now you wont even have to look down at your screen! VoiceOver can also speak over 20 languages including English, Chinese (Cantonese), Chinese (Mandarin), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.

The new iPod Nano has new iPod+ Nike capabilities. So get ready to meet your new running coach. With the new built in pedometer you can keep track of your steps, time, workouts, run distance, your furthest running distance, and calories burned. For this feature to work you need Nike+ Shoes, and the Nike + iPod Sport Kit (available separately).

The new iPod Nano is sold starting at the price of $149

The new iPod Touch now has improved performance. This means that webpages and apps will now open faster than the previous generations, around 50% faster. The new iPod touch is available in 8 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB models. Some of these features are only availiable in the 32 GB and 64 GB.

The new iPod Touch instantly recognizes if you are in a place with a wireless network, if its free wi-fi you are ready to go, you can launch any of your apps that depend on the internet. But, some wireless networks allow a password, but you only have ot enter it once, because the iPod touch remembers the password! The next time you are near that network you are automatically connected!

All iPod touch models use Safari as their web browser. Safari is an advanced web browser on certain Mac and PC computers. You can do almost everything on Safari on your iPod Touch, that you can do on your computer. Web pages look exactly the same on Safari on your iPod Touch as they do on your computer.

Email on the new iPod Touch looks and works exactly like email on your computer. Setting up email on your iPod Touch is easy because iPod touch already has settings for popular email services such as Gmail, MobileMe, Yahoo!, AOL, and Microsoft Exchange. Typing on iPod Touch is very easy, because the smart keyboard predicts and corrects words as you type. If you are writing something long, you can change from Portrait to Landscape mode my turning your iPod Touch on its side, making the keys larger, and allowing more room to type.

You can now know where you are going and where you are with maps on iPod Touch. If you are connected to Wi-fi you can get turn-by-turn directions, and you can find your own location. Maps also finds points of interest from the keyword search.

iPod touch helps you stay connected. Whenever you need to tweet about something on Twitter, update your Facebook status, or just want to talk to someone on AIM, if you are connected to Wi-Fi you can do so. The Aim, Facebook, and some Twitter apps are available for free in the App Store.

The accelerometer inside of iPod Touch detects when you rotate or move the iPod Touch. Inside of some game apps, such as racing, balance games, etc. This feature makes the game apps that much better. The difference between iPod Touch and other gaming systems is that iPod touch has a multi-touch interface, which means you are not just playing the game, you are also interacting!
